A warm, nostalgic and buttery Western Australian honey with moderate antibacterial strength (TA20+), harvested from the striking white-trunked Wandoo (White Gum) forests of the south-west. Perfect for Everyday use.

About This Honey

WANDOO ACTIVE TA20+ is collected from the beautiful Eucalyptus Wandoo forests scattered across Western Australia’s south-west region. These iconic trees — known for their bright white smooth trunks and delicate pink-white tendril blossoms — produce a lighter, more delicate honey compared to the deep, bold tones of other WA Eucalypt varieties.

Highly prized and notoriously difficult to harvest, Wandoo Honey is often called the “beekeepers’ disappointment” because the nectar flow is unpredictable and yields are low. As a result, this honey is always produced in small batches and is cherished for its subtle, comforting flavour and natural bioactivity.

With a TA20+ rating, this honey offers moderate antibacterial strength, making it ideal for everyday wellness, gentle immune support and gut health. Its nostalgic, warming flavour profile makes it a customer favourite for breakfast, baking and nourishing daily rituals.

Warm, buttery aromas of fresh pancakes, toasted Brazil nuts and roasted potatoes. On the palate, flavours of Biscoff biscuits, hedgehog slice and chocolate crackles unfold — a toasty, comforting sweetness that feels like childhood in a jar.

MGO/TA

MGO (Methylglyoxal)
Used for Manuka honey. Higher MGO levels indicate stronger antibacterial strength — from gentle everyday support to advanced immune and skin benefits.

TA (Total Activity)
Used for our Eucalyptus honeys (Jarrah, Marri, Blackbutt, Desert Mallee, etc.). TA measures the honey’s overall antibacterial strength, including natural hydrogen peroxide activity.

A higher TA rating means greater medicinal potency.

Whether TA or MGO, each measure helps you choose the right honey for your wellness needs — from daily support to targeted immune defence.

Testing
All Honey For Life honeys are independently tested at accredited laboratories, ChemCentre in Western Australia and Analytica in New Zealand to ensure purity, authenticity and medicinal strength.
