About This Honey

Discover the perfect pairing with our Honey for Cheese collection, featuring 3 x 60g jars of premium Western Australian honey.

Jarrah Honey: Best with Blues

Our Jarrah honey boasts a malty, tangy flavour that elevates the sharp and piquant notes of blue cheese, smoothing out any harsh overtones. This pairing is a match made in heaven for blue cheese lovers.

Marri Honey: Heaven with Hards

The robust, creamy, salty, and nutty flavours of hard cheeses are beautifully complemented by our Marri honey. This combination enhances the rich textures and flavours, making it a must-try for hard cheese enthusiasts.

Southern Yate Honey: Superb with Softs

With its mild taste and slight citrus undertone, our Southern Yate honey pairs perfectly with mature soft cheeses. This pairing allows the rich, buttery, and often earthy flavours of soft cheeses to shine through.

How to use

Create the perfect grazing board with our trio of premium WA honeys. Pair them with fresh fruit, nuts, crackers, sourdough and your favourite cheeses for an elevated, gourmet experience.

Try These Pairings

  • Marri + Brie on Lavosh — soft, creamy and lightly sweet
  • Jarrah + Cheddar + Apple — sharp, crunchy and caramel-rich
  • Southern Yate + Blue + Walnut — bold, earthy and beautifully balanced
  • Southern Yate + Goat’s Cheese + Fig — tangy, elegant and irresistible

Serve honeys in small ramekins for easy dipping, or drizzle directly over cheese for instant flavour.

MGO/TA

MGO (Methylglyoxal)
Used for Manuka honey. Higher MGO levels indicate stronger antibacterial strength — from gentle everyday support to advanced immune and skin benefits.

TA (Total Activity)
Used for our Eucalyptus honeys (Jarrah, Marri, Blackbutt, Desert Mallee, etc.). TA measures the honey’s overall antibacterial strength, including natural hydrogen peroxide activity.

A higher TA rating means greater medicinal potency.

Whether TA or MGO, each measure helps you choose the right honey for your wellness needs — from daily support to targeted immune defence.

Testing
All Honey For Life honeys are independently tested at accredited laboratories, ChemCentre in Western Australia and Analytica in New Zealand to ensure purity, authenticity and medicinal strength.
