7Collected from the wild western side of Tasmania from temperate rainforest landscapes that resemble 'middle earth' (for all you LOTR fans!)… checkout the photos. Our beekeepers didn't make this honey but had no choice but to include it in our collect as its one of our absolute favorites. With intense floral notes and its famous tangy unique bite this is one of Australia's truly unique honeys tastes! Produced only in small batches... treat yourself!

What is Total Activity?
What is Total Activity?
Total Activity (TA) is the measurement of the honey's antimicrobial quality or its antimicrobial strength in killing bacteria. Any honey with a TA rating higher than 10+ has beneficial antimicrobial properties. The larger the TA number, the stronger the antimicrobial effect level of the honey.
We get most of our honey tested for its Total Activity by the NATA registered Chem Centre of Western Australia, Intertek, and Analytica Laboratories.
Rich in antioxidants like flavonoids and phenolic acids, honey has natural antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. Studies have shown that honey helps lower blood pressure, improve heart function and prevent the death of healthy cells.
As our honey is not heated or pasteurised, the active ingredients remain more effective than in processed honey.
