Our Queen Bees are grafted from the ultimate in established genetic lines that promote a docile temperament, hygienic behaviour, superior honey production and great egg layers!

We are proudly part of the prestigious Better Bees Western Australian Rottnest Island Queen Bee Program mated and marked daughters.

These Italian queen bees are caught on a 4 week cycle starting in Spring each year and finishing in Autumn.

HEALTH CERTIFICATES FOR BIOSECURITY |

All orders outside of WA need a health certificate with a cost to you of $75 per order.

It takes 3 days for us to receive the health certificates from DPIRD

***Due to biosecurity reasons we unfortunately can't ship to Tasmania!***

DISPATCH TIMEFRAMES |

As our Bees are caught on a 4 week cycle there may be a delay in the dispatch of your order. We will keep you up to date.

Queens are only dispatched on a Monday. (once we have the health certificate your order will be dispatched the following Monday) It can take up to 2 business weeks to dispatch your order once the Queen Bees and Health Certificates are ready.

SHIPPING QUEEN BEES |

Queen bees will arrive via Platinum Australia Post in a specially designed cage. The cage will contain the mated queen bee with a few escort bees, who will help to keep her calm during transport.

LOCAL PICK UP |

If you live in WA you are welcome to pick up your order from our 274 King Road, Oldbury address - please call 0429 001 133 to arrange a time.

I was impressed with the detail of certificates and time spend on this. Not many suppliers are spending the time on such an important thing in the industry. Bee arrived in perfect health. Only one thing i would suggest, is to tape the queen cages down to the box or a card as they were bouncing around in the box when they arrived. i will be getting more from you guys. just waiting to see how they go as queens.

Experience was second to none. From initial contact to delivery and after all queries and timelines were answered promptly and queens delivered with 3 days from WA to Brisbane Qld. All queens were healthy and in placing in the nucs accepted without delay with larvae evident within a week. Since delivery nucs have been placed into full depth 10 frame hive. I would not hesitate to prefer again or recommend Honey for Life as a supplier.
