About This Honey
Collected from the towering Jarrah forests just southwest of Perth near Dwellingup, this mono-floral honey comes from the Jarrah tree (Eucalyptus marginata), which blooms only every two - three years.
Its TA35+ rating gives it high antibacterial strength, making it a popular choice for immunity, gut support, and everyday wellness.
Though naturally dark and rich, Jarrah is known for being low in glucose, making it a preferred option for those managing blood sugar levels.
Jarrah TA35+ is thick, dark and complex — with flavours of cherry-chocolate, sticky date pudding, and warm spices. You may also notice hints of walnut, chestnut, and nutmeg, creating a mature, full-bodied flavour that lingers beautifully.

BioActive honey should be eaten raw to preserve all natural benefits.
We rigorously test all our honeys to meet the international Codex Standard for quality and safety. Every batch is certified for export, assessed for bioactivity, and checked for purity. This includes TA rating (antibacterial strength) for our Eucalypt honeys, MGO for our Manuka and Murchison River varieties. All testing is carried out by accredited labs — ChemCentre (WA) and Analytica (NZ) — ensuring accuracy and trust in every jar.
MGO/TA
MGO (Methylglyoxal)
Used for Manuka honey. Higher MGO levels indicate stronger antibacterial strength — from gentle everyday support to advanced immune and skin benefits.
TA (Total Activity)
Used for our Eucalyptus honeys (Jarrah, Marri, Blackbutt, Desert Mallee, etc.). TA measures the honey’s overall antibacterial strength, including natural hydrogen peroxide activity.
A higher TA rating means greater medicinal potency.
Whether TA or MGO, each measure helps you choose the right honey for your wellness needs — from daily support to targeted immune defence.
Testing
All Honey For Life honeys are independently tested at accredited laboratories, ChemCentre in Western Australia and Analytica in New Zealand to ensure purity, authenticity and medicinal strength.

Delivery time and packaging are great as usual. Jarrah honey is the nectar of the Gods, and its distinctive flavour reminds me of my origins in the South West. I love all honey but this is the winner for me.
