What is Total Activity?
Total Activity (TA) is the measurement of the honey's antimicrobial quality or its antimicrobial strength in killing bacteria. Any honey with a TA rating higher than 10+ has beneficial antimicrobial properties. The larger the TA number, the stronger the antimicrobial effect level of the honey.
We get most of our honey tested for its Total Activity by the NATA registered Chem Centre of Western Australia, Intertek, and Analytica Laboratories.

I usually only use Manuka honey when I feel like I'm getting sick and during it. I tried this one when it first came and couldn't stop using it daily for my teas. I had to fight the urge to use it like it was your normal, cheaper honey.. I've had other Manuka honeys before that I get from chemist warehouse but those don't taste like anything - or you really had to use a LOT to be able to. This one just one teaspoon is enough to taste the sweetness. Cheaper too! Would definitely recommend.
